Citizens of UK, USA, Canada and most European and commonwealth countries need only a passport to enter Barbados. All visitors must complete a landing card on arrival, part of which is retained by the visitor for presentation on departure when a fee of BD$25.00 is payable.

The local currency is the Barbados dollar which is linked to the U.S. dollar on the basis 2 to 1. Most currency is accepted by banks as are travelers cheques. Credit Cards are also widely accepted in shops, hotels and restaurants.
